Empowerment Team plan for 2013

 1^st Quarter (January – April) 

• Give out scholarship in three areas (College/University X 2, Training/Vocational Training X 2 and small business set up X 2). Applications process begins 1/17/13 and ends 2/17/13. Scholarship will be awarded on 3/3/13

• Job Fair on 4/27/13 (10am-12noon)

• Seminar: Steps to make a career change or advancement to meet current employment challenges 3/9/13

• Presentation to church on 2/27/13

2^nd Quarter (May – August)

• Summer school scholarship X 2 (Application opens April 21 and closes May 5) forms available from the church website

• Seminar: How to set long term and short term goals. Date:   6/8/13

• Guest speaker: Rich Dad Poor Dad seminar: Date: 3/20/13

• Seminar: 11^TH and 12^th graders (Watch Out for dates)

3^rd Quarter (September – December)

• Freshman scholarship, senior year scholarship (Application opens Sept. 1 and closes Sept. 15) forms available from the church website

• Launch endowment opportunities

• Seminar: Challenges of self employment, and starting a small business Date: 11/9/13
